Leadership

As Anglicans, we place a high value on authority, honoring the pattern found in Hebrews 13 of submitting to the elders of the Church.

In the Anglican Church of North America, we have Bishops (Overseers), Presbyters (Elders), and Deacons.

Bishops function as external oversight pastors, guiding the pastors of individual parishes and providing leadership to the denomination and their individual diocese.

Pastors guide the local congregation (parish) and deacons serve the local body of believers.
